Access to education is a basic human right. It reduces poverty and offers the tools needed to succeed in life.

According to the Seattle Post-Intelligencer, more than half of families living in poverty don’t have children’s books in their homes. Code Read is a nonprofit dedicated to improving these numbers. By providing new books to kids in need, we aim to improve literacy levels, increase access to age-approorpiate literature, and encourage a lifelong love of reading.

Below are links to donate, volunteer, and share about Code Read! A donation of only $5.00 will provide two new books, a book bag, and a bookmark to a child in need.
